W. Robert (Bob) Blades

Bob Blades is the Principal of Liquid Capital Corporate Finance Inc., which provides alternative lending services to small and medium-sized businesses.

Bob’s career has spanned 40 years in the financial services sector in Canada.  The first twenty years with a Canadian Chartered Bank, where he maintained senior positions focusing on commercial credit, loan work outs and managing commercial lending units. The last twenty years were spent in alternative lending.  Bob was one of the first asset based lenders in Canada representing a USA firm in 1993.  In 1997 Bob joined GE Capital as their Senior Vice President managing their Business Credit Group providing Asset Based Loans $3 Million to $35 Million in Canada. In 2002 he was instrumental in setting up Greenfield Financial Group Inc., a TSX listed company providing Asset Based Loans up to $10 Million.

Bob now uses his wealth of experience at Liquid Capital Corporate Finance Inc. to assist small business owners, not only in finding alternative lending, but also in seeking professional assistance in every aspect of running a company. Ethical and reliable, Bob has a great deal of empathy for business owners. He is proud to say that he once assisted a company involved with an unscrupulous lender, who had demanded, for no real reason. The company was forced to pay them out in 10 days or suffer a penalty of $100,000 when applying to renew their credit. Bob was able to complete due diligence and help the customer pay out the lender within the 10 day time frame. He continued to work with this company for a further year and was able to help them secure financing at much more favorable terms.

Bob has a significant contact base in the financial service sector.

Bob and his wife Cheryl have lived in the GTA since 1980 and have a son, Todd. He enjoys great family life, alpine skiing, gourmet cooking and fine wines with his wife.

Glen Dalzell

Glen is the VP Sales & Marketing for Liquid Capital Corp. which operates a network of 85 independently owned and operated offices across Canada and the United States. Liquid Capital offers a wide array of working capital and trade finance products including factoring, ABL, P.O. financing, leasing and Merchant Cash Advance.

Glen has been in the factoring and ABL industry since 1999. Prior to joining the industry, Glen garnered a wide range of experience in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments. He is a graduate of McGill University and the University of Toronto.

Glen is a member of the Advisory Board for the International Factoring Association (IFA) based in Avila Beach, California. The IFA is the largest association of commercial finance companies in the world. Glen is also a founding member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer for IFA Canada, the Canadian chapter of the IFA. Glen is actively involved with the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and the Commercial Finance Association (CFA). He is also Liquid Capital’s resident “wine geek”.

Wayne Watts

Wayne Watts owns Liquid Capital Prairie Corp, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, which offers a variety of financial tools to help businesses gain working capital.

Wayne has a Bachelor’s of Commerce from the University of Calgary. Before opening Liquid Capital Prairie Corp, Wayne spent 14 years at RBC and 15 years selling and renting vehicles. Honest and fair minded, Wayne really cares about all the people he works with. He combines this passion for helping people with the knowledge and experience necessary to use the vast array of financial tools offered through Liquid Capital to help businesses succeed. This combination of customer service, knowledge and experience was integral when Wayne assisted a group of employees released from a major company after an attempt to buy the subsidiary they worked at.  Wayne was able to work with them and with his help the new company they formed was bought out within 2 years.

An active member of the local business community, Wayne is a member of the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce, the North Saskatoon Business Association and the Saskatchewan Capital Network. He also has a keen interest in politics and volunteers at all levels of elections. When not in the office or volunteering, Wayne enjoys playing golf, hockey, reading, travelling and spending time with his lovely wife and children.

Clarence is a seasoned financial professional with over 13 years of experience in corporate finance, financial analysis, and business valuations. He is a CFA charterholder with an MBA in Finance from McGill University. He possesses extensive knowledge of a numerous industries including commercial printing, pharmaceutical/biotechnology and financial services. Clarence is always available to meet with local businesses to discuss their own liquidity needs or those of their clients.

Ramtin Zojaji is the owner and President of Liquid Capital Ventures Inc., located in Toronto, Ontario, which provides small, medium, and emerging middle-market businesses with a wide range of customized and creative financing solutions.

Ramtin has a Bachelor’s of Mechanical Engineering and an MBA. With 14 years of experience in corporate finance, sales, and entrepreneurship in Iran, Switzerland, and Canada, he has the knowledge and experience necessary to help businesses grow. Ramtin understands what it takes for small and medium-sized businesses to succeed – because he’s a small business person himself.

Passionate about helping the local business community, he works to combine the high quality service of a small business with the power and resources of a larger corporation. Ramtin’s proudest professional achievement to date is helping a sporting goods importer and distributor by offering Invoice Factoring, Purchase (Inventory) Financing and a Working Capital Term Loan. Due to Ramtin’s assistance they passed their sales budget and forecast by 25% for the first three quarters of 2016 and also were able to sell to one major retailer and the top three sporting goods distributors in the U.S.A and Canada.

Ramtin is a member of the Scarborough Business Association, the Turnaround Management Association, the Association of Chinese Canadian Entrepreneurs, and volunteers with Sick Kids Hospital. He has held various positions that have helped him build his business acumen, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, and strategic thinking ability while always maintaining the highest professional standards.  An active part of the local business community, Darius is a member of the Toronto M&A Club, Turnaround Management Association (TMA), Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), Commercial Finance Association (CFA), International Factoring Association (IFA), and Business Network International (BNI).

Darius was driven to open Liquid Capital Financial Advantage Ltd by a desire to help small and medium- sized businesses succeed, and will do everything possible to achieve that goal. As a business owner himself, Darius understands that every business will experience challenges, but with honest, open communication he believes that it is possible to work together to overcome obstacles and achieve the best possible results.
