Liquid Capital Corp. and its affiliates including Liquid Capital of America Corp., Liquid Capital Canada Corp., Liquid Capital Exchange, Inc., Liquid Capital Exchange Corp. and Liquid Capital Trade Finance Inc. (collectively and individually, “Liquid Capital”) have always maintained the highest attention to safeguard the privacy of information they obtain in the course of their respective business activities. Liquid Capital believes it is important for you to know how we treat your personal information. This Privacy Policy will explain why we collect personal information (information about an identifiable individual) about our clients and their employees, our franchisees and their principals, our employees, our referral sources, and other individuals who interact with us, and how we handle that information on our websites and offline.
Types of information we collect
With your consent, we may gather personal information from you in person, at our office, over the telephone, through our websites, by corresponding with you via mail or email, or from third party suppliers.
When you make an inquiry on one of our websites or complete an employment, franchise or financing application we may collect from you certain information including, but not limited to, and as applicable to the particular circumstance, your name, current and previous addresses, date of birth, Social Insurance Number or Social Security Number, gender, salary, marital status, and specific details about your assets (their cost and date of acquisition, current value), and your liabilities (to whom, the amount owed, the nature of any collateral pledged, etc). We may also collect additional information, such as correspondence with us, questions/comments about Liquid Capital, academic and professional qualifications, particulars of current and previous employment and other matters related to your suitability whether as a client, a franchisee, an employee, etc.. For persons who act as a proprietor, partner or shareholder of a duly formed legal entity, we may collect further information, such as your firm name, and names and respective interests of members, partners or shareholders.
Liquid Capital may also access, use, store and share your personal information comprising Google user data. In particular, Liquid Capital may view and authenticate your Google user data for login verification and for syncing calendar and contacts information. Liquid Capital saves your Google data into Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services. Google data saved on Liquid Capital servers includes email, tokens for accesses, basic profile information, calendar events and contacts but generally does not include drive folders or files, hangouts calls and Google data from other Google services. Liquid Capital does not interfere with Google’s privacy policy.
How we use your personal information
Personal information provided by you in connection with your actual or prospective business or employment relationship with Liquid Capital, may be used by, collected by and/or disclosed by Liquid Capital (including its agents and contractors, lenders and investors) for the following purposes:
- to evaluate your application and eligibility for the particular relationship;
- to enable Liquid Capital to enter into contractual relationships with you;
- for contract and relationship management and administration;
- to detect and prevent fraud and other unauthorized or illegal activities;
- to provide information and services that you request;
- to respond to your comments and inquiries;
- for marketing and promotion of products and services to you;
- to meet legal and regulatory requirements that Liquid Capital believes in good faith are applicable;
- to analyze data individually or in aggregate to assist Liquid Capital in its businesses;
- in connection with and to facilitate financing for Liquid Capital and any purchase and sale or reorganization transaction involving Liquid Capital;
- as may be otherwise authorized by you.
If your personal information is to be used or disclosed for any new purposes, we will, to the extent required by law, identify these new purposes prior to such use or disclosure and, if required, obtain your consent.
Liquid Capital will not sell any of your personal information that you provide to Liquid Capital.
Sharing of personal information
From time to time Liquid Capital may share your personal information with affiliates within our corporate group and with our third party vendors, suppliers, data processors, and providers responsible for administering marketing and promotional activities or providing the products and services you requested, on our behalf. We contractually require the organizations with whom we may share your personal information for these purposes to have policies regarding personal information consistent with our Privacy Policy or to abide by our policies as relevant to the personal information shared with them.
Liquid Capital does not control how you or any of your other third party service providers choose to share or disclose your personal information. Liquid Capital may, acting on your behalf, share your personal information with your provider of an integration you are adding but Liquid Capital is not responsible for how your provider of an integration may collect, use or share your personal information.
Websites and the Internet
In general, you can visit Liquid Capital’s websites at www.liquidcapitalcorp.com and www.lcfranchise.com (the “Websites”) without revealing any personal information about yourself. But we do collect information such as IP addresses, cookies, Internet tags and navigational data. This information is used to better understand and improve usage of the Websites and provide better user service.
The Websites may contain links to other sites. Liquid Capital provides these links as a convenience to users and is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. Users are encouraged to be aware when they leave the Websites and to read the privacy statement of every website that collects personally identifiable information.
Your consent
If you choose to provide personal information to Liquid Capital, we assume that you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as outlined in this Privacy Policy or otherwise at the time of collection, use or disclosure. If you do not consent, please do not provide your personal information or, where applicable, exercise the opt-out options offered. If Liquid Capital requests additional personal information or intends to use or disclose your personal information differently than described in this Privacy Policy, we will advise you at or before the time of collection, use or disclosure (as the case may be) as to how we will handle that personal information. Liquid Capital will not collect, use or disclose personal information other than as described herein, or at the time of collection, use or disclosure (as the case may be), or as otherwise required or permitted by law.

Retention of personal information
Liquid Capital will destroy, erase or render anonymous personal information no longer required for the stated purposes or for a legal or legitimate business requirement.
Security safeguards
Liquid Capital takes precautions to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, inappropriate alteration, and misuse. All safety and security measures are appropriate to the sensitivity level of your information. Access to your personal information is restricted to those persons whose job responsibilities require them to have access. In addition, Liquid Capital uses technological safeguards, such as encrypted passwords. Given that electronically transmitted data is not 100% secure, Liquid Capital makes no warranties as to the security of any such information that you submit, which you do at your own risk.
Access and correction of personal information
If you wish to request access to, or correction of, your personal information in Liquid Capital’s records, please make your request in writing to the Privacy Officer at Liquid Capital. Some information may not be accessed in certain circumstances, for example if it contains personal information of other persons or for other legal reasons.
Should you identify any incorrect or out-of-date information, please notify Liquid Capital so we can make the required changes as appropriate.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
Liquid Capital reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If Liquid Capital makes a material change, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly. We recommend you review this Privacy Policy periodically so you are aware of any changes. Your continued use of our websites following the posting of any changes to this Privacy Policy shall constitute your acceptance of these changes.
