Michael Sokoloff

Michael Sokoloff is the President of Liquid Capital Business Funding, located in Mount Laurel New Jersey, where he works with small and medium sized businesses to help them acquire the working capital they need to succeed.

Michael has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He has more than 30 years of experience selling a variety of solutions to businesses, including software, human resources services, commercial real estate financing and brokerage, and payroll and related services. Persistent and hardworking, Michael has helped businesses optimize their performance and significantly reduce their costs.

Now, through Liquid Capital Business Funding, Michael is fulfilling his dream of owning his own business, while using his extensive experience to help his local business community grow. Michael is a member of several local business associations and is a long term resident of Southern New Jersey. He is a Philadelphia sports fan and car enthusiast, acting as a section chair of his local Porsche Club. Michael is the proud father of two; a daughter in medical school, and a son about to graduate college with a major in radio and television.

Michael Banasiak owns and manages Liquid Capital Express; a second tier commercial trade financing company dedicated to helping businesses grow. Banasiak continuously exemplifies this deep commitment to businesses by providing the financing that they need, when they need it.

Banasiak offers more than 25 years experience in the information and financial services industries with expertise in statistical decision technology. By offering easy-to-obtain working capital solutions, he allows companies to afford opportunities domestically and internationally, with the ultimate goal of becoming more bankable. Using his vast experience and expertise, Banasiak provides a consultative, customer oriented approach to understand the client’s business and finances, working together come up with the most viable financing solution that leads to success.

Prior to managing Liquid Capital Express, Banasiak founded PredictiveMetrics, Inc., a predictive scoring and decision analytics company that he profitably sold to SunGard, a $5 billion software company. Banasiak seamlessly integrated PredictiveMetrics’ scoring technology into SunGard’s accounts receivable and credit management system growing revenue and EBITA two consecutive years after the acquisition of PredictiveMetrics. Banasiak is the forefather of commercial credit scoring; while working at Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) he successfully built their first commercial credit scoring and financial stress models currently used by over 10,000 companies.

Banasiak graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in statistics.  He also completed the master’s degree coursework in economics (ABT) and completion of a three-course doctorate sequence in econometrics from New York University (NYU).

 

Michael Dasappan

Michael Dasappan owns and operates Liquid Capital Growth Funding, located in Morristown, New Jersey, where he helps businesses obtain the working capital they need to grow. Liquid Capital has been in business since 1999 and even during the worst days of the 2008 financial crisis, didn’t miss a single client funding.

Michael’s passion is helping business owners be successful and grow their business. He works to make Liquid Capital Growth Funding a one-stop shop for business owners to grow their business. Always conscientious, Michael never assumes his customers are satisfied with a product, and does his best to follow up with every customer. This feedback has provided valuable insight and allowed Michael to consistently meet or exceed the expectations of his customers. Even in his off time, Michael is always improving his skills; he enjoys reading marketing and business books so he can apply those concepts with clients to help them grow. Though he has lived in New Jersey for more than 25 years, Michael did not grow up in the US. He loves being multi-lingual and the sense of belonging it gives him with various communities.

Internationally educated, Michael has a B. Com. in Accounting/Commerce, a B.S. in Business Administration and an M.A. in Strategic Communication and Leadership. Having owned and operated several businesses, Michael understands the importance of working capital, especially as a company grows. Michael has held a wide variety of positions such as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Controller and Treasurer, Consultant, Manager/Associate Director, Staff Accountant, Analyst, and Programmer across the pharmaceutical, restaurant, retail and insurance industries. A natural problem-solver, this diverse background makes him uniquely qualified to understand and assist with cash flow issues. As part of the Liquid Capital network, which has more offices across North America than any other trade finance company, Michael has both the resources and skills necessary to help businesses of any size.

Michael is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, the Association for Corporate Growth, Garden State Credit Associates, the Business Resource Council and Business Networkers International. He volunteers with Mentored Pathways, an organization that connects students with professionals to achieve academic and career success.
