Bruce D. Dawson

Bruce Dawson is the President and CEO of Liquid Capital of Colorado where he lends his extensive experience to assist businesses with their alternative funding needs.

With over 35 years of experience as a CEO, COO, VP & General Manager, Bruce has started, structured, and assumed full P&L responsibility of multiple businesses including a national energy company that quickly evolved into one of the most successful organically-grown retail energy businesses in the US energy industry. A serial entrepreneur, he specializes in operating cost management, strategic national and international partnerships, business revitalizations, and financing business startups.

His wide ranging executive experience is at national, regional and local levels with fortune 500s as well as small and mid-sized companies. His experience spans across residential, commercial, industrial, and government segments and in manufacturing, and product/service companies within both regulated and deregulated industries.

Bruce has served on multiple Boards of Directors for various corporations, industry associations and community and charitable organizations. He is currently a member of several Boards, Chambers of Commerce, Association for Corporate Growth, Turnaround Management Association, Risk Management Association and other organizations and routinely offers training on alternative funding mechanisms for businesses – both internal and external.

Bruce’s experience in managing small to large companies makes him an ideal partner for you and your business. He intimately understands the operating aspects of a business as well as the pressures that cash flow introduces when an organization experiences rapid growth, cyclical sales cycles or even periods of financial distress due to cash flow constraints.

Bruce holds a Master’s Degree in Management with International Honors and a Bachelor’s in Accounting.  He has managed companies, divisions and procurement offices. He also has extensive Executive Development education from Penn State, Wharton Business School, University of Michigan & more. Perhaps his best education, however, is his experience in managing and streamlining multiple businesses using both internal and external sources of funds.
