Tom Hartlett

Tom Hartlett

Tom Hartlett owns Liquid Capital Solutions, based in Milford, CT, which provides working capital funding solutions for small to medium sized businesses.

Tom has over 30 years of experience in operations and management roles for financial services companies, most recently as the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Information Officer for a global life reinsurer. In 2015, Tom decided to use his skills and abilities to run his own business helping business owners in CT.  He understands the challenges businesses are facing, and works to be known as the go-to guy who works side by side with business owners to provide solutions to their working capital challenges.

Tom’s greatest joy is opening the door to success by offering creative capital solutions to help businesses grow and prosper. When a staffing company was struggling with having sufficient working capital to manage it expenses, Tom provided a receivables financing facility which alleviated the stress caused by the working capital shortage, and enabled the company to increase its client base while efficiently managing it resources. This allowed the firm to retain its best employees and relieve the stress this business owner felt. This sort of creative and strategic response to his clients’ needs is why Tom was named “US Franchise Rookie of the Year” in 2016.

Tom is a member of the Elm City (New Haven) BNI, the Milford Chamber of Commerce, the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce, the CT Turnaround Management Association, and the New Haven Manufacturers Association. He also serves with the Milford Rotary Club and is an active member of the Fairfield County USBC Board of Directors, overseeing the All-Star team selection and Hall of Fame committee. Outside of the office, Tom enjoys performing music professionally, and is an avid bowler and golfer.
